Moodle: An Excellent Teaching System

Today I was asked to update the assignment's problems on the class website. The instructor asked me to use Moodle system. What is Moodle? You can find answer HERE. After try-and-error, I found this system, or modules, is quite good for teacher. You can give your students online information, including handouts, presentations, or the links to another web resource. The best part is Moodle provides you the tool to construct on-line tests. Yes, on-line tests. Students can login the site and take the quiz or test whenever they want (of course, before the due date). For me, it is very easy to set up a quiz just in minutes. Right now I am helping the instructor to establish the problem database. We can use them to assign HWs by a few clicks. Great, right?

Just one puzzle about the Moodle. It's about the Cloze, a script language used to set up customized question. Not every type of questions you want is built in Moodle. Sometimes you have to write your own question in Cloze if there is no suitable template for your needs. So, I am suffering again. This time my enemy is Cloze.

I don't think Cloze would cost too much time. Because the usage of Cloze looks simple, I think. Just think. We'll see.
