Windows XP on Intel Mac

BOOT CAMP
Today the biggest news for Apple was the release of the Boot Camp beta, a software that can help you to install Windows XP SP2 on the newest Intel Mac. Wow !! This is wonderful, although I use Mac more often than Windows. Sometimes I have to keep both PC Notebook and my loving iBook on my desk. I have to work on Visual Basic .Net coding. So I have no choice but keeping an old PC notebook. Now, I have the option each time when I boot the iBook, excellent Mac OSX or not so good Windows XP. I think this time Apple is stepping further into PC market. Hopefully the the percentage of Mac computer can increase to 10%.

This is really a good news for me. But I am still thinking a better method to switch the both operation system on Mac. If Apple can develop a quick switch mechanism, like switching login user in Mac OSX now, more user should target Mac computers more often. I wish this dream will come true when the Mac OS 10.5 is introduced next year.

Here are the photos of installing Windows XP Traditional Chinese version on iMac.

Well, it's time to save some money for my MacBook Pro.
