[+/-] : 新的 iPod, 新的 iPod Touch

今天是 Apple Special Event Announcement 的大日子，從早上十點開始，就一直在注意線上文字轉播，果然如大家事前所料，有新版的 iPod Nano, iPod Shuffle, 還有「觸控瑩幕」的 iPod Touch, 哇哇～～ 太銷魂了～～看來要多加看緊荷包，免得又要大失血了。

不知道我能忍多久，我很中意 iPod Touch, 簡直是 iPhone 的翻版，除了沒電話功能外，其他都有，還多了個 WiFi 功能，真是太棒了，可以取代我的 Palm TX PDA 了....

哎唷～要忍住啊!!

[+/-] : [Mac 好站] MacUKnow

近日發現了一個很棒的 Mac 教學網站-- MacUKnow。這是一個由 stanley 發起建置的蘋果圈 教學／新知 網站，內容依 新手／進階 程度而有不同的教學文章，我在裏面翻了翻，發現不少好用的 Mac OSX 密技，以及實用的軟體應用，例如：

• Mac上如何播放Divx，並掛載中文字幕


• 如何在 iWork 的 Keynote 中做到圖片去背景


• 三種方法輕鬆備份你的蘋果電腦

這些教學有些解決困擾我許久的問題，有些是我不知道的軟體應用，整個瀏覽下來的感覺很棒，有「為何不早點出現！」的感慨。我已註冊加入會員，希望不久的將來，我也可以分享一些我的 Mac 使用經驗。

歡迎蘋果圈舊雨新知，多多光臨 MacUKnow，給作者打氣，也大力鼓吹 PC 使用者轉換平台，不用怕在 Mac 世界不知所措，因為 MacUKnow 的存在，這將永遠不會是個問題。

[+/-] : Blogger 的「文章一覽」功能

昨天發現了一個實用也很炫的 Blogger hack: BlogToC Widget. 這是一個 Blooger 限定的 hack, 它可以提供一張清單，列出你所有的 post, 可以依照時間排列，或是照字母，或是依 label 來列出文章，這功能對讀者非常有用。節錄 Beautiful Beta的說明:

• You can sort the TOC by Post Title by clicking the column header. Click it again, and it is sorted in reversed order.


• The same way if you want to sort the posts by date: newest first, or oldest first.


• And by clicking on one of the labels in the TOC filters all posts with that label.


• Click the column header to return to the full ToC.

最近一直在找可用的留言板版型，用 Google 搜尋可以找到一堆，但不是不容易用，就是不太好看。後來我在幾位 Blogger 同好的網頁上發現 Cbox，一個客製化且易用的 message board，其介面還有中文的選項，真不錯。現在我就將這個 Message Board 加入到右邊側欄，各位朋友，路人, anyone，都可以在我的網站上留言。留言方法很簡單，只要留下 name, email/URL, message，按 Go 就可以 post 了，我丟了幾則留言作為示範，歡迎大家有空多來聊聊。

另外做個預告，我的 blog 更新到 Blogger 新版，並加入一些有趣的小東西，這些都是我在網路上找到的，除了功用佳之外，還能替 blog 增色不少。有空再跟大家一一介紹囉～

[+/-] : Google Picasa Web Albums

最近發現 Google 也推出了網頁相簿，看來是要跟 Yahoo 的 Flickr 較勁。Google Picasa 是個不錯的相簿管理工具，也可以進行一些簡單的相片編輯，當然啦，如果你是專業 photographer，還是用專業軟體比較好。另外用 Google Picasa 的好處是，你用同樣的 Gmail 帳號，就可以管理同帳號的網路相簿，Google 提供你免費 1G 的空間來放相片，Windows 或 Mac 使用者都可以下載 Picasa 軟體來連線，只不過 Windows 平台多了桌面端的相片管理程式。


我是 Flikr 愛用者，但 Picasa 很方便，因此我是將我原始照片都上傳一份到 Flickr 備份（我是有繳錢的 Pro Account），再把要分享的照片，編輯並縮小尺寸後，放到 Picasa 來供大家瀏覽，這樣使 Blog 開啟快多了，以下是二則示範相簿，是眾位好友在西雅圖的歡聚集錦。

Beautiful Beta: Blog Navigation: Top of Page and Top of Post

Check this out! I just found a very useful and interesting hack about Blogger. You can find there are two more links at my post footer: 「回頁首」and 「回章首」. You can try it to see what will happen after clicking.

See? 「回頁首」means "to scroll up to the top of the page." 「回章首」means "to scroll up to the top of this post." I think this is a very cool hack you can apply on your Blogger. The trick is simple, you just need two things:

• Peek-A-Boo Post Hack (see here)


• the code to add this "Scroll to top" hack. (see below)

If you can see this message, the Super Peek-A-Boo post functions well. I got the code from Hans' blog. In his blog, he explained step by step about how to make your post as an expandable message. You can also visit Heckosphere if you use Blogger Beta.

The Peek-A-Boo function is very useful when your post is quite long. You can click the link below the "summary post" to expand the full message. And the beauty is you won't be directed to a new page to show the full message. You just stay on the main page. So you can fold up the longer message and watch other posts without fooling around the back-and-forth buttons of the browser.

It had been few days before I found the solution of putting a calender on my sidebar. Today, finally, I found a great solution from Romka's Travellers Notes. This is a great calender that can trace your posts and link them when visitors click on them. It is a convenient navigating tool for everyone. I don't know why the Blogger doesn't include the Calendar function in their default template. Anyway, I got my solution, and maybe this post is helpful for someone facing same problems as I have.

As you may notice, I add a Flickr Badge on my side bar. I created an account in Flickr, and put a lot of photos from me. I set up quite a few photo albums that can only be shared between friends and family. Right now I haven't sent out the invitation emails to make any of you, who are interested, having the right to visit the private photos. I will give you the permission when I finish the dirty organization works. (Here is another excuse for the lazy guy, ME.)

Now, just enjoy the beautiful UW scenery.
