I got my left knee injured this January. It was a painful experience. During the cure and recovery, the doctor gave me a knee brace to protect my left knee. Yesterday I got the bill from Rainier Surgical Inc. which produces the knee braces. Do you know how much the brace costs? It costs me $289. Wow, two hundred bulks. I also found the bill statement said, "Insurance denial addtl. info from member." I can't believe that my student insurance didn't cover the cost. So today I went to the insurance office in Hall Health, and asked them what happened. After phoning and checking, they told me this request had been under process on April 11. So I don't need to care about this bill, just wait for a new one. OK, I accept the explanation. My story tells me that if you feel something not reasonable, go ask for help. There is usually a big chance you don't need to pay for it. At least, this time it works.
